Generally Speaking, The sense of Social responsibility means individual or organizations’ moralacknowledge and self-conscious on the responsibility and duty he should bear, and the preparation for practicingsocial responsibility and the moral motion of dedications. At September2004,<The CPC Central CommitteeDecision on Strengthening the Party’s ruling ability construction> mentioned, it should guide and educate thecadres and the masses to enhance the spirit of ownership and the social responsibility and the sense ofconsciousness to fulfill the responsibility. It helps to improve the civil ethical construction project. Obviously,foresting the civil responsibility is one of the important content of ideological and political education.Senior school education is the highest level of elementary education, which is the fore-step andentrance of collegial education. The quality and level of senior school students, whose youthful spirit like Sun atmorning8or9O’clock, affect largely the talent status of social ranks in future. In order to meet the need of timesdevelopment, the new aims of politic class at senior school indicate that it should pay more attention to students’emotions, attitudes and behaviors, and construct a domestic class which is practicable and open, which leadstudents to practise more activities of social acknowledge, social adjustment and social integration and sense thevalue and meaning of knowledge. Overall, strengthening the education about social responsibility to seniorschool students, which is one of important teaching target of senior school class, is the necessary and requirementto implement plan of politic class at senior school.The Paper explains that social responsibility from national people is the plus power to force socialcivilized construction ahead. It reflects mainly the necessity and essential to strengthen the education about socialresponsibility at senior school, on the basics of insight analysis on the social responsibility‘s features and contentsof senior students, who is a special civil group. The result combines with the requirement of times developmentand quality-oriented education, the ideas of new teaching aim of senior politic class and practicing advices, andthe current situation that the social responsibility of senior school students is so poor. It then indicates themethods and practicing steps to foster senior students’ responsibility, with taking examples of currentachievements and teaching experience. At last, it designs a teaching case, as the example of <Creativity and Achievement of Value> from <Life and Philosophy>, gives us a testing declaration on fostering senior students’social responsibility at politic class.
