The issue of economically-disadvantaged college students is not a platitude. It gains widespread attention from local governments in China and abroad and from the perspective of the past, the present and the future higher education.Paying close attention to the issue of economically-disadvantaged college students, searching the funding mechanism on economically-disadvantaged college students, and providing reference for economically-disadvantaged college students’subsidy are of great importance to the equality of educational opportunity, to the original meaning’s expression of the higher education popularity mode, to the speeding up of Chinese talents’training, and to the shaping of a leading power of human resources.On the basis of the previous research results, the research regards economically-disadvantaged college students’ subsidy as a starting point, cards related theories, treats the funding mechanism on economically-disadvantaged college students as an open system, and deeply analyzes the present basic elements of the funding mechanism on economically-disadvantaged college students in order to give advice to the betterment of the funding mechanism on economically-disadvantaged college students.Firstly, the essay sketches the research background and cards Chinese and foreign research results to set a foundation for the essay’s writing. Secondly, the funding mechanism on economically-disadvantaged college students is considered as an open system, related factors are analyzed and carded, and the definition, the formation and the funding system of economically-disadvantaged college students are analyzed. Thirdly, the essay sketches the overview of the funding mechanism on foreign economically-disadvantaged college students, the past of Chinese economically-disadvantaged college students’ subsidy and the practice of Guangxi economically-disadvantaged college students’ subsidy in order to provide lessons for reference to the betterment of China’s funding mechanism on foreign economically-disadvantaged college students. Fourthly, the essay deeply analyzes and studies the problems in Nanning economically-disadvantaged college students’ subsidy——hardship to confirm economically-disadvantaged college students, work-study’s incomplete effects, insufficient capital, inadequate Hematopoiesis function of the funding mechanism on economically-disadvantaged college students and the State-subsidized student loan mechanism’s lack of humanistic care. And the essay also analyzes the whys——the indefinite standard of economically-disadvantaged college students’ confirmation, imperfect work-study system, the lagging behind of local economic development, the incomplete understanding of economically-disadvantaged college students’ subsidy and the imperfect State-subsidized student loan mechanism. Finally, according to the previous problems and reasons, the writing gives advice on how to construct the funding mechanism on economically-disadvantaged college students——the betterment of the confirmation system of economically-disadvantaged college students, the creation of the work-study system based on schools and facing the society, the betterment of the funding capital input system, the deepening understanding of economically-disadvantaged college students’ subsidy, and the speeding up of the improvement of the State-subsidized student loan mechanism.
