Probe Into The Mode Of Nongovernmental Financial Support To Economically-Disadvantaged Students

Since the resumption of college entrance examination, the financial support to economically-disadvantaged college students witnesses so many changes as the society and high education keep moving on. After the enlargement of enrollment, the issue of how to support college economically-disadvantaged college students is attached to much more attention. A new mode of financial support, i.e. nongovernmental support mode is discussed in this article.The status quo of economically-disadvantaged college students and financial support to them are described, and the defects of current system are analyzed in the first part of this thesis. And the construction of nongovernmental financial support mode is discussed in the second part, including its feasibility and necessity, of which the status quo and obstacles are also explored from the perspectives of the subjects, environment and mechanism. In the last part of this thesis, the multiplicity, independence and coordination of supporting subjects, the diversity, plurality and levels of supporting means, the regulation, supervision and guidance of, over and to nongovernmental supporting organizations, and the administration environment, media environment and awareness cultivation are all contemplated to establish an effective mode of nongovernmental financial support.
