Research On Improvement And Strategies Of The Funded Work To Universities’ Students From Economically Disadvantaged Families

Since the reform and opening up, China’s higher education becomes increasingly popular and universal, and the number of college students from economically disadvantaged families is growing, college students from poor families has become one of the hot issues of common concern for the nation and the society. Although the state has initially established a kind of diversified funding system and has basically solved the difficulties that students go to school, to a certain extent, which eases their economic difficulties. However, as for poor students, resulted from the economic difficulties, arising from the psychological, ideological and capacity issues are also increasingly highlighted. Therefore, the current funding work needs to be further improved and to explore more effective and scientific funding strategies.The idea of development funding work attaches importance to support the ability and spirit, through the effective integration of financial support methods, combining the project practice, the ability practice, thanksgiving and honesty education and independence education to achieve all-round development of students. This idea can effectively improve the ability of survival and adaption for the poor students, but also fully embodies the people-oriented scientific concept of development and the education fairness, promoting harmony and stability of society. At the same time, the construction of development funding system is in accord with the fundamental requirements of the mainstream of social value and socialist core value system, with the essence of socialism. It is conductive to promote the comprehensive development of poor students. It has the important theory significance and practical meaning.This study states the evolution and current situation of China’s colleges funded work, from the development, the demand survey, the existing problems and analyzing reasons, through sorting, collecting and empirical research. It takes example by American college funding work and puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to build development funding system, in order to improve our country’s college funding work and achieve all-round development of poor students.
