Study On The Core Competence Promotion Of The New Undergraduate Universities In Guangxi

Owing to the popularization, internationalization and marketization of higher education, Nowadays, Guangxi has eight new undergraduate colleges, which31%of overall universities in Guangxi. No doubt new undergraduate universities has played an important role in higher education system in Guangxi. Not only they have a significant effect on the overall level of higher education in Guangxi,but also greatly promote the development of local economy and society in Guangxi. Besides, it make a contribution to cultivate a large number of talents. Because of lack of education resource, niche overlap and high pressure for survival, It is urgent to need a new theory to integrate resources and ability, make a Scientific position and find the right way for survival and development. Therefore, the study on core competence enhance of under graduate colleges emerges.The thesis is divided into6chapters.The first part is preface that illustrating the research rational and purpose, significance and theoretical background.The second part mainly introduce the conception of key words and theoretical basis---Resource-based and niche.The third part is the current situation of core competence of new undergraduate colleges base on the raking of university. The core competence of new undergraduate universities in Guangxi is the weakest which Compare eastern, middle new undergraduate universities.The forth part is the problems and causes of the core competitiveness of new undergraduate colleges in Guangxi that faced. There are total resources lacked, shortage of high-quality strategic resources, niche overlap, few social influences and so on.The fifth part defines the content of the core competitiveness of constituent elements, using AHP establish a scientific and rational concise evaluation index system model, which make core competitiveness of the college of objective, scientific, comprehensive evaluation. The last part, on the basis of five part above, it provide some strategies to promote the core competence of colleges. There are Scientific position, integration of resources, create a active environment, strive for external support.All in all, the study explain the core competence of the new undergraduate universities in Guangxi on the basis of theory of Recourse-based and niche, it provides a new thought for the new undergraduate colleges development of Guangxi, while it also has a significance effect on improve their capabilities in the future.
