Therefore, how to take measures to effectively alleviate and gradually solve the problem of the employment of college students gradually become the focus of the whole society.In view of the present situation of College Students’ employment difficulties, the social sectors including the relevant education departments and universities are also actively seeking solutions, the problem can be solved directly affect the survival and development of colleges and universities. At the same time, in the fierce job market, some well-known university graduates in the learning ability, professional skills and other aspects have a relative advantage, which also to some extent affect the employment of other ordinary college graduates. In the face of difficult problems, the Ministry of education puts forward the important issues that the local college students should carry out the reform of Vocational Education in order to better serve the local economic and social development. First of all, based on the domestic and foreign scholars’ literature on the concept of the core competitiveness and employment ability, it summarized the four characteristics of College Students’ Employment in core competitiveness, and according to the constitutive model of the characteristic, we put forward the theory of college students’ employment core competitiveness composition model. Secondly, through a questionnaire survey on the employment ability of the employing unit, empirical analysis of the main contents, we list the contents of the students’ Employment Core competitiveness.The second part of the Shijiazhuang College from the development survey, through the Shijiazhuang College graduates in the past three years of employment data and graduate students, to understand the characteristics of the school graduates, analysis of the school graduates in the core competitiveness of the current situation, reflects the school gradually clear the school orientation, also carried out a series of related education reform, in the career planning guidance and employment service level, students have a certain career development consciousness, also reflects the school in personnel training and practice teaching and other aspects of the problem, In the course of running, there are some deviations in the running process, the practice teaching link lack of the pertinence of the application oriented Undergraduate Talents in the basic work.
