A Research On The Red Culture And The Ideals And Beliefs Education Of University Students

A nation, a country without spiritual pillar, there is no soul! A career, a kind ofpursue without spiritual pillar, there is no hope! We need a rich material security,political foundation and a strong spiritual and cultural belief which were helpful to setup a powerful socialist country. Our State leaders are always put the development ofculture in an important place. Comrade Jiang zemin once put forward that during theconstruction of well-off society, we must vigorously promote the development ofsocialist advanced culture, constructing a highly developed spiritual civilization society.In the related conference Premier Wen jiabao was also point out that we shouldvigorously accelerate cultural undertakings and the development of cultural industry.The Sixth Plenary Session of the Seventeenth Central Committee of the CommunistParty for deepening the reform of cultural system, promoting socialist culturaldevelopment and prosperity certain major issue decisions, one of the biggest bright spotis put forward building"cultural power country"long-term strategy, training highcultural consciousness and cultural confidence. Red culture as a branch of Chineseculture, it embodies the good tradition of the CPC, and it is a precious spiritual wealthwhich was formed in the revolutionary struggle practice. The ideal faith is a preciousspiritual wealth of red culture, but also a important content of red culture. As the focusof ideological and political education, university students’ ideals and beliefs educationare also play an important role on formation of the correct outlook on life, worldoutlook and values.University students are a main driving force of future science and technologydevelopment. They are the future of our country and the hope of our nation. So whetheruniversity students’ ideal faith lofty or not, are directly related to the fate of our countryin the future. The basic characteristic and essential attribute of red culture make it’sbecoming one of the effective ways to lead college students’ ideals and beliefs education.Therefore, how to more deeply mining the classic material of red culture in the idealsand beliefs education to guide them to set up a correct ideal faith having a greattheoretical significance and practical significance.This paper is divided into five parts:Part1. An introduction, mainly introduces the research significance, the domesticand international current research situation, the research methods and ideas of redculture and university students’ ideals and beliefs education.Part2. Analysis the red culture under the background of the Marxism, it is mainlyincluding the definition, formation and the development and main characteristics of redculture.Part3. Analysis the importance of college students’ ideals and beliefs education,through the questionnaire and interview material, this paper briefly summarized thecurrent situation of college students’ ideals and beliefs education, and explores theproblems and the reasons. Part4. According to the research in the previous, we can analysis the relationbetween red culture and the education of university students’ ideals and beliefs, and theimportant role that red culture plays in the education.Part5. Propose a solution of improving ideals and beliefs education within redculture, respectively from the content, the form, the method and the subject four aspects.
