For the past few years, with the increasing of quantity and the diversity of type,College student community is developing rapidly. This has greatly promoted theconstruction of campus culture in colleges and universities, improved thecomprehensive quality of students. However, by further practical research on collegesociety activities, the author found that the development and construction of collegestudent associations are still faced with many problems and challenges. For example:Most societies lack clear goals and overall planning; Community activities’ quality isnot high, lack order, innovation and influence, so society is difficult to long-termdevelopment; Membership participation in community activities is low, so it isdifficult to improve their abilities as their development needs can not be satisfied.Community members do not approve of their society. To solve these problems, thisresearch thinks that the nature of college student community is to make the studentobtain knowledge and experience through practical activities. This corresponds to theaction learning conception, so we use action learning theory for the construction ofcollege student associations. By adopting the methods of questionnaire survey,interview and data statistics, this paper studies the action learning ability of Jiangxinormal university, analyzes the relationship between action learning ability andcurrent situation of the development of society, the relationship between actionlearning ability and member’s approval to the society, and finds out the factors thatinfluence the community action learning ability, to provide suggestions for collegestudents’ community construction. This article can be divided into the following fourparts:Chapter one is introduction about research background and significance, Reviewon college students’ community and action learning research to make an overalldesign of the paper. Chapter two is concept definition, the paper would describe theconcept, characteristics and functions of college student associations, and introducethe connotation and constituent elements of action learning. Chapter three takesJiangxi normal university for example, uses the methods of questionnaires and datastatistics, learns the community action learning ability from six aspects: the problemor challenge, groups or teams, questions and reflection, action, learning and instructor, analyzes the relationship between action learning ability and current situation of thedevelopment of society, the relationship between action learning ability and member’sapproval to the society,to explore the factors that influence the community actionlearning. Chapter four is conclusion, summarizes the results of the study, analyzes theshortage of the research, and gives suggestions about how to use action learning to theconstruction of society.
