Probability and statistics has now become one of the important content of highschool mathematics, and it is closely related the daily life of people even Science andtechnology, so it becomes every citizen’s necessary knowledge.“Standard” thecorresponding materials(the old textbooks) has undergone great changes in probabilityand statistics.This paper will show "full-time regular senior high school textbook(Experimental Amendment)Mathematics"(PEP) and high school curriculum standardtextbooks(Experimental).By looking up relevant material, the Literature, and usingcomparison method and literature method, the paper conducted a comparative studyabout the textbook of probability and statistics in the content, chapter arrangement,mode of presentation and the difficulty of exercises.As a consequence, new teaching material has changed greatly differently in thecontent of probability and statistics,the chapter arrangement, course content andother aspects have changed greatly.Based on analyzing the influence factors on the curriculum difficulty, usingmathematical model of curriculum difficulty, comparing probability statistics contentdifficulty of the “standards”and “Outline”, the results show that the statistical contentof the difficulty has increased, and the probability changed little.As for examples and exercises of Probability and statistics, an increasedtendency exists not only in the number of example and exercise but also in the varietyof exercises in new teaching materials. In the difficulty of exercises, it has an increasedproportion in the aspects of "background","explore”,"operation" and "Knowledgecontent". In the " reasoning " factors of Probability and statistics, the difficulty degreehas not changed much and it has been in a relatively stable state. |
