A Comparative Study On The Difficulty Of Different Versions Of High School Physics Textbooks Under The New Curriculum Standard

In 2017,the Ministry of Education released the curriculum standards for the core literacy of various subjects in high school,which proposed the core literacy of various subjects.Different versions of high school physics textbooks compiled on this basis have been released successively and started to be used in some regions.How to evaluate the difficulty of the textbooks is an urgent problem to be solved now.This study takes the high school physics textbooks compiled by the People's Education Edition and the Luke Edition compiled according to the Common High School Physics Curriculum Standards(2017Edition)as the research object,and conducts a comparative study on the difficulty of the textbooks.By analyzing and summarizing teaching difficulty related research results,combined with physical discipline characteristic,requirement and the new high school physics teaching material of new characteristics of the writing on the influence factor of the difficulty,divided into the application areas of difficulty model modified,get the physics textbook knowledge content evaluation model,experimental exploration difficulty evaluation model and the difficulty of homework problems evaluation model.The quantitative assignment and comparative study on the difficulty of knowledge content,exploration difficulty and exercise difficulty of mechanics module in the new curriculum standard and Luke edition of high school physics textbooks are carried out,and the following conclusions are drawn:(1)In the dimension of knowledge content,in the mechanics part of the two versions of textbooks,the width of the PEP version is less than that of the Luke version,but the total depth and difficulty of the PEP version are greater than that of the Luke version,which indicates that the PEP version of textbooks has the characteristic of "less but better".At the same time,the selection of knowledge in the two versions of textbooks has its own emphasis.The PEP version lays emphasis on setting up some instrumental knowledge,while the Luke version lays emphasis on setting up some transference knowledge.(2)in the experiment to explore the dimensions of breadth,depth,teaching materials,schools are difficulty are less than that Lu Ke versions Lu Ke version of the large number of experimental teaching material of small,simple,led to a number of experimental schools are teaching materials is far less than Lu Ke edition teaching material,and schools are teaching materials with special form of experiment,the experiment of openness is bigger.(3)in the dimension of after-school exercises,schools are teaching materials on the five factors influencing the problem difficulty of weighted average were greater than Lu Ke version of teaching materials,the operation process and knowledge content of the two factors is especially obvious,therefore o 'clock textbook exercises after class difficulty than Lu Ke edition teaching material,and on the problem sets number,Lu Ke edition teaching material is less than one version of the teaching material,so have the characteristics of "little and light".Based on the above conclusions,the author puts forward the following suggestions for the use of PEP textbooks and Luke textbooks:(1)Reasonably supplement the content to make up for the shortcomings of the textbook.Teachers can learn from each other according to the emphasis of different textbooks in the process of using the textbook,and timely supplement the knowledge in class.(2)Create experimental situations and increase experimental openness.In view of the shortage of experimental exploration in PEP textbooks,teachers should fully explore rich curriculum resources and create experimental situations in the process of using them.However,Luke textbooks need to improve the openness of experimental exploration to allow students to experience the complete process of experiments.(3)reasonable arrangement and appropriate adaptation of after-school exercises,the teacher for homework problems in the process of using teaching material,there should be a choice for homework assignments and commented the topic of some students have questions in class,and combining with the university entrance exam questions and the difficulty of appropriate adaptation homework problems,increase the difficulty of the homework problems,meet the needs of different students.
