Since the nineteen ninties, facing the challenges of the new century, manycountries and regions of the world have started a new round of education reform, andhave developed the cross-centtury curriculum reform plan. Our country at thebeginning of twenty-first Century also introduced a corresponding nationalcurriculum standards and reformed the history education and so on. From a macropoint of view, the history of education in the new century appeared some hot spots.For example, research on the reform of history teaching, the history curriculumstandard, the whole study of the history of Education, aarrangement of historycurriculum, the compilation of history textbook etc. And the textbook compilation ismore important. Because of the history textbook is the link between the history ofteachers and students. In order to better analyze and understand the contents oftextbooks, and find the advantages and disadvantages of the current history textbooks.Therefore this paper selects Chinese and American hsitory textbooks as the object ofthe comparative study, the first is an overview of the "Person teaching edition"textbook and the "McGraw-Hill edition" textbook of the United States of America forthe overall. Then this paper analyzes respectively from writing genre, style andcontent features, and bases on the general summary on "Xin Hai Revolution" lessonto the specific textbook(summarizing the similarities and differences between the twoeditions of textbooks from the summary of the text and the auxiliary system). Finallyon the basis of comparative differences, I summarize the results of the textbook andsum up the experiences and put forward some suggestions. Additonally takingadvantage of the textbooks and adding my own innovation, I try to compile "Xin HaiRevolution" to explore the teaching idea historical course of education and providepersonal view further for the longitudinal develpment history of education in China.In order to study, this paper mainly adopts the text comparison and the method ofunity of history and logic to analysis and draw the conclusion. So far, we have anymonograph about the comparative study on Sino-US textbook. Although we havethe relevant discussion papers, have not a case of history of China as the researchobject. So, this is value of this article.
