In the era of economy globalization,varied requirements for talent cultivation are put forward by different countries.In order to follow the development trend of education,basic education is under constant reform.The reform of history textbooks,as an important part of basic education reform,also stays updated on and on."Roosevelt’s New Deal",a major event in human history,plays a vital role not only in China but also the United States.Composed by introduction,text and reference,this thesis takes Roosevelt’s New Deal as the research object.The main body comprises four parts: the first part mainly introduces the curriculum structure of Chinese and American history and the requirements of the curriculum standards of the two countries for Roosevelt’s New Deal;the second part mainly compares the contents of Roosevelt’s New Deal from the background,content and impact.The third part mainly compares the auxiliary system of textbooks,including the comparison of introductory language,the comparison of text auxiliary system,the comparison of historical illustrations,and the study of after-class evaluation.The fourth part discuss compilation of high school history textbooks inspired by conclusion drawn from comparison of textbooks,which also makes contribution to the development of history education in middle schools in China.
