Vocational colleges is an institution of higher learning which to serve socialistmodernization as the purpose, take the employment-oriented as the guidance and to trainhigh-quality、high-skilled applicable talents as own duty. The level of knowledge and the heightof individual quality and self-cultivation of teachers play a decisive role on the quality of thetalents. So faculty is the key to develop vocational colleges and the guarantee to train the talents.However, due to the low level and treatment of vocational colleges’ teachers, there existsteacher attrition phenomenon. X College is a higher vocational and technical college, the authortakes it as a case study, aims at providing basis for the relevant policy making to improve thehealthy development of vocational college.The research adopts a combined method of qualitative and quantitative studies. Literaturesearches, questionnaire, interviews are used, and the relevant studies on the same topic aresummarized. On the basis of this, the status quo of the problem is described in terms of forms,causes, effects, etc. A focused study is made on one case of X college, which including: ageneral introduction to X college, the analysis of X college’ teacher attrition and its reason(underdeveloped economy, management and evaluation system is not reasonable, teachers’level of knowledge is limited, the realization of self-worth, etc). Finally, the countermeasuresare offered to solve the problem (creating a better environment, setting up a perfect incentivemechanism, improving teacher training system).
