In modern society, females are becoming increasingly engaged in entrepreneurial activity, which have become the major vehicle for women to be away from poverty and improve their social status in the meanwhile. What’s more, economies are well-developed and noticeable progress in the society are made accordingly. However, there was no theoretical framework available to address the research of females’ entrepreneurial activity. This dissertation tries to construct the framework of how human capital, social capital and gender determine both entrepreneurial intention and activity on the basis of embeddedness theory. On top of that, hypotheses on the significant influences of age and education level of human capital, material status, total household income of social capital and gender on Guangxi cities and towns female’s entrepreneurial intention and activity are proposed. Furthermore, contributing factors influencing Guangxi cities and towns females’entrepreneurship are analyzed for the purpose of further detailed research and policy-making.The results show that:1)Age, the total household income and gender are both confirmed to have significant correlation with Guangxi cities and towns young females’entrepreneurial intention, while no causality was confirmed after doing regression analysis.2)Age, the level of education, material status, the total household income and gender are all confirmed to have significant correlation with Guangxi cities and towns young females’entrepreneurial activity. Adopting entrepreneurial intention as an independent variable when doing the Regression Analysis, the result illustrates that5variables manifest causality with entrepreneurial activity except gender. More specifically, the level of education in human capital has a negative impact on Guangxi cities and towns young women’s entrepreneurial activity, namely, under certain circumstances, higher education level leads to lower entrepreneurial activity. The reason is that females with higher education level have higher level of opportunity cost. The other4variables, on the other hand, present positive influence on Guangxi cities and towns young females’entrepreneurial activity, namely, as people growing older and have more household income, the probability of initiating entrepreneurial activity for those married and entrepreneurial intention-possessed people increase accordingly.3) Entrepreneurial intention, age and level of education, material status and the total household income are all verified as the major factors that determine Guangxi cities and towns young women’s entrepreneurial activity. Aging and a certain degree of education level increase the human capital stock; Since marriage and the total household income both serve as family relationship network that comprise young females’social capital, married females and those who have higher household income usually possess more sufficient social capitals; As a component functions to initiate entrepreneurial activity, entrepreneurial intention promotes the entrepreneurial activity effectively. To sum up, the research finds out that the differences in human capital and social capital along with the existence of entrepreneurial intention jointly influence entrepreneurial activity. However, gender does not show any significant influences, which indicates Guangxi cities and towns females are provided with relatively open and fair entrepreneurial environments.
