Nowadays great importance is attached to the development of secondary occupation education in China, Guangxi’s secondary occupation education seizes the opportunity of rapid development, which leads to the basic formation of secondary occupation education system with Guangxi’s regional characteristics. However, though the scale of the secondary vocational school expand, the number of students does not increase, which highlights the insufficient personal demand on secondary occupation education. During the development of Guangxi’s secondary occupation education, the problem of how to solve the insufficient individual demand cannot be ignored.Factors that influence the individual demand on secondary occupation education lies in many aspects. This research, starting with the analysis of the development and the individual demand of Guangxi’s secondary occupation education, will analyzes the phenomenon of the insufficient individual demand; then through actual investigation and study, use the method of analysis of variance to find the differences of individual needs existing in secondary occupation education in Guangxi and its characteristics:And then, through the factor analysis method and regression analysis method, the research reveals the influence factors of individual needs of secondary occupation education in Guangxi and the extent of the effect. Finally, try to provide some suggestions to solve the problems of individual needs of secondary occupation education in Guangxi so as to better promote the sound and rapid development of secondary occupation education in Guangxi.The study on individual needs of secondary occupation education in Guangxi finds that: 1. Individual needs of secondary occupation education in Guangxi are obviously insufficient.2. Individual needs of secondary occupation education in Guangxi are affected by the following factors:The basic individual characteristics, parents’ education level and occupation, personal economic level of family, understanding of the secondary vocational school, learning ability, the degree of the caring of parents and so on. The impact of these factors on the demand of secondary occupation education differs significantly.3. Individual needs of secondary occupation education in Guangxi are mainly affected by the following factors:The basic individual characteristics, parents’ education level and occupation, personal economic level of family, understanding of the secondary vocational school, learning ability, individual future expectation and so on. Among them, the factors of individual learning and individual future expectation play the most important role.On the basis of empirical research, this study proposes to continue to strengthen the reform of secondary education, so as to provide system guarantee for needs of individuals; develop quality resources of secondary occupation education to optimize the environment; increase the publicity of secondary occupation education to break through the traditional concept; gradually promote free secondary occupation education, perfect the policy of all kinds of subsidies.
