Study On The Minority Traditional Sports Culture From The Perspective Of Cultural Ecology In Xiangxi

China is a civilization of5000years of ancient history and culture of the ethnicgroups in China, a hundred flowers contend in beauty of folk customs to contain all thecharacteristics of the ethnic culture. While the minority traditional sports culture, as anindispensible part of it, not only closely linked with the movement of the body, theprocedure, the rules of the game, athletic training, equipment manufacturing and othersports activities, it is closely related to the traditional culture of ethnic minorities in theoriginal ecological environment--social characteristics, economic life, religiousceremonies, customs, history and culture, and has the cultural ecology system itself.Hunan is the only autonomous prefecture of ethnic minority--Xiangxi, is the only wasincluded in Hunan Province, the economic cooperation area and the development of thewestern area, and their own ethnic minority traditional sports culture and deep heritage,has the certain representation, is the inevitable result of minority culture research.In this paper, from the perspective of cultural ecology, by using the method ofdocumentary, investigation, logical analysis, mathematical statistics, expert interviews,analysis of cultural and ecological characteristics of Xiangxi Minority TraditionalSports from Xiangxi’s natural geography, science and technology, economicdevelopment, social structure and cultural values. Research conclusion of Xiangximinority traditional sports culture and development of local natural geographic,economic, technological, social and cultural concepts are closely related, naturalgeography and climate makes the local people’s life style and sports activities of the folkstyle, traditional ethnic sports have become an important part of Xiangxi people’s life,and continued the development of thousands of years. But with the development ofsociety, economy, science and technology, the Xiangxi national minority traditionsports environment original produced tremendous change, such as economicdiversification, the mechanization of agricultural production, entertainment formdiversification, labor transfer, the process of city and the rapid development of theglobalization of culture on people’s Thought impact let the people of the state ofXiangxi, mode of life and production is changed, so that the traditional sports of ethnicminorities in people life position is gradually become marginalized, accordingly, itscultural nature also received the corresponding impact. According to the analysis ofinquiry, with the changes of the social environment, the state of Xiangxi minoritytraditional sports culture is facing enormous challenges, collision both and the newenvironment and adapt to the stage, transition stage and its development.According to the state of Xiangxi minority traditional sports culture developmentsuggestions: Xiangxi in the construction of sports venues according to its naturalgeographical features of the construction of multipurpose sports; strengthen independent relevant personnel training in science and technology; in the great festival of sports,sports equipment should be appropriate to the extension of the traditional handmade inthe equipment; industry of national sports culture, should form industry, creatingcharacteristics, create brand, to fully tap the connotation, strengthening project ofintangible cultural heritage protection in the follow-up development; national sportsculture aspect, during a major festival activities of government should be given tofinancial and policy support; traditional sports should be rooted in the fertile soil of ruralsociety; traditional sports activities should be normalized and law; traditional sportsshould be diversified development, development of new living space to adapt to socialchanges; make full use of the school sports resource advantage.
