Objective: In this study, college golf players have been received biofeedbacktraining by using Self-generate Physiological Coherence System. In order to explorethe influence on college golf players’ heart rate variability in biofeedback training andthe trend of the heart rate variability, the college golf players’ heart rate variability hasbeen monitored and feedback. In the same time, this study also searches the influenceon biofeedback training to the college golf players’ achievements. On the base ofimproving the ability of mastering the basic mental skills training capacity, this studyalso aim to verify weather the Self-generate Physiological Coherence System which iseasier and more convenient for players to enhance their mental skills can be a measureof long-term psychological intervention or not,Method: This experimental intervention is completely within-subject design.10college golf players (6male players,4female players, average age=19.00±0.99years)were involved4months biofeedback training by using Self-generate PhysiologicalCoherence System. Players were divided into A and B group, each group has5players.A group receives training in every Monday and Thursday morning, B group receivestraining in every Tuesday and Friday afternoon. Before the formal training, everyplayer has to have a basic training. Each one both has2times biofeedback training ineach week, each training contains three items: Pipal, Archery, Clever Hands and GoodSense. Depend on the diffidence time in training, the training item’s has two kind ofdifficulty, simple and medium.Result:1、SDNN、RMS-SD、PNN50、TP、LF、LF/HF、LFnorm in item CleverHands and Good Sense are significantly lower than item Pipal and Archery (p<0.01,p<0.05); HFnorm in item Clever Hands and Good Sense is significantly higher than itin item Pipal and Archery (p<0.01), VLF in item Clever Hands and Good Sense issignificantly lower item Archery (p<0.05).2、In item Pipal and Archery, SDNN、RMS-SD、PNN50、TP in late stage enhanced significantly (p<0.01, p<0.05), LF/HFand LFnorm decreased gradually in three stages, HFnorm increased gradually in threestages.3、In item Pipal and Archery, SDNN、RMS-SD、PNN50in medium stage aresignificantly lower than early stage (p<0.01, p<0.05), LF/HF in medium stage is higher than early stage. After continuous medium difficulty training, SDNN、RMS-SD、PNN50(p<0.01, p<0.05) in late stage are significantly higher than them inearly stage.5、SDNN、RMS-SD、PNN50、HFnorm in achievement late stage enhancedsignificantly (p<0.01, p<0.05), this is inversely proportional to achievement trendwhich is decreased gradually. The trends are same between the LF, LFnorm and theaverage of performance.Conclusion:1、The influences of difference item in biofeedback training aredifference significantly. Item Pipal and Archery are better than item Clever Hands andGood Sense, and item Pipal and Archery are more easier to master for players.2、College golf players in long-term biofeedback training can significantly enhance theirheart rate variability, improve vagal tone, suitable control sympathetic activity andimprove the balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic activity.3、Withthe increased difficulty in training item, golf players’ heart rate variability, vagal tone,and the balance between the sympathetic and parasympathetic activity have beeneffected. After continuous medium difficulty training, some temporary poor statuswould recover good.4、Long-term biofeedback training can effect college golfplayers’ performance energetically and improve ability of self-control.
