Shooting is the advantages of Olympic Games sports projects in China,it has the task of gain the first gold in many times. The technical characteristics of shooting events are technical and non-confrontational,emphasizing the self-control and self-adjustment of athletes.Athletes need to achieve the state of peace and coordination in the game, and to ensure the stability of the technical level to the maximum extent. In the process of game, because of high nervous athlete would body stiffness, muscle discordant, skilled movement non-fluency,and ultimately affect their performance. The important part of psychological training is how to improve and stabilize the state of mind and self-regulation ability of shooters. From the existing research, research on mental training of domestic shooting project focused on imagery training, biofeedback training research is less. The application and effect of biofeedback training in Chinese shooting athletes have not aroused the attention of scholars in China. Therefore, the present study was designed to investigate the effect of the biofeedback training on heart rate variability, mood and competition results, the aim is to provide some practical guidance for the mental training,at the same time it can enrich and perfect the theory of mental training in China.16 shooters were selected as the subjects. The subjects were randomly divided into the experimental group and the control group, the experimental group had 8 athletes, the average age was 19.25±2.12 years;the control group had 8 athletes, the average age was 23.25±3.15 years.SPCS system was used to training the athletes in the experimental group, and the game training method was used to increase athletes'training interest. The experimental group athletes received heart rate variability biofeedback training for 5 days a week for 4 weeks,35 minutes each time, all the biofeedback training was completed in the laboratory, and the control group was not given any intervention. The competition result is the game result before and after the training. All the experimental data were analyzed by covariance analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results suggested:?1?There were significant differences in TP and LF between the experimental group and the control group(FTP=7.58,p<0.05;FLF=5.29,p<0.05).HF and LF/HF were not significant difference between the experimental group and the control group.?2?There was no significant difference in nervous, anger, fatigue, depression, energy, confusion and self-related emotion between the experimental group and the control group.?3?There were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group in sports performance?F=7.02,p<0.01?.?4?HF growth rate can negatively predict the growth rate of Shooters'competition performance, and explain 58%of variance of sports performance growth rate. From the above results,we draw the following conclusions:?1?Biofeedback training can change the heart rate variability of shooters, which is reflected in the two variables of TP and LF.?2?Biofeedback training did not change the mood state of shooters.?3?Biofeedback training can effectively improve Shooters'competition performance, the HF growth rate can negatively predict the growth and change rate of the competition performance of the shooters. This suggests that biofeedback training is likely to have an impact on the athlete's performance by affecting the excitability of the parasympathetic nerve.
