Sports consumption is the economic behavior that in orderto meet the social and personal needs of sports, the consumptionpeople buy sports products by money. From an economic point ofview, since the reform and opening up, Chinese economy isdeveloping very fast and people’s living standards continue toimprove."The private sports consumption" is graduallyrecognized and accepted, and becomes the focus of sportseconomics. But the research of the relation between " publicsports consumption" and" private sports consumption " is stillrare.The object of study is the sport consumption structure ofthe city workers in Changzhou. Though the questionnaires thatI design, we can understand their sports consumption trend andthe actual situation,including the individual sportsconsumption and the public sports consumption.We can draw theoutline of practitioners’sports consumption in Changzhou andanalysis of sports consumption structure. On this basis, tocultivate a healthy sports consumption market, i will putforward the relevant suggestion with the help of" publicconsumption" theory.
