Chemistry is a subject based on experiment, experiment teaching in juniormiddle school stage enlightening stage has a great influence on students to learnchemistry in the future. advocated creating mainly to do experimental activities ofscientific inquiry in chemistry teaching, teachers are asked to teach students theknowledge more, should pay more attention to the training of students’ scientificinquiry abilities, in order to lay a solid foundation for the development of students.Anevident change is happening from traditional Experimental Teaching to Inquiry-basedTeaching.As the conventional real experiment, with its limits in various aspects, canhardly provide sufficient assistance any more to the carrying out of the Inquiry-basedTeaching. On the contrary, virtual experiment is more complement for its sharingnature, reusability, expansibility and security, etc. It dose better in supporting theapplication of the Inquiry-based Teaching, and attracts more and more people to payattention and research.This paper firstly describes the research background of "junior high schoolchemistry virtual experiment platform of virtual experiment teaching design andApplication Research Based on", discusses the research goal and the significance,introduced domestic and foreign research status, as well as the basic theory, relatedconcepts, types and characteristics. Then a simple analysis of our junior high schoolchemistry experiment and the application research status of design, lists the existingproblems, and introduced the function and advantages of chemical virtual experimentplatform in junior high school, a brief description of the design process, principle andtechnology platform. Next the paper focuses on and analyzes the design principlesand the concept of virtual experiment teaching design in junior middle schoolchemistry virtual experiment platform based on, also be relevant to the case as asupplement, and ultimately to salt purification experiment as the case, to design avirtual experiment teaching design in junior middle school chemistry virtualexperiment platform based on complete.Finally in the three Lanzhou junior highschool students and teachers as the research object, the inquiry of the virtualexperiment on application and investigation, according to the study on virtual experiment on the problems and shortcomings, prospect of exploring virtual juniorhigh school chemistry experiment in the future.
