Comparative Study On The Service, Attack, And Block Effect Between The Chinese Female Volleyball Team And The World’s Strong Teams In The30th Olympic Games

Since modern times, Chinese has received many achievements in sports. The Chinesefemale volleyball team has become one of the eye-catching teams with its outstandingachievements. The Chinese female volleyball team has a glory history. It received the worldchampion for the first time in1981. What makes the Chinese people proud is that it gainedthe world champion for five times successively in the80s of the20th century,. But in the90s of the last century, it experienced a downturn. At the beginning of the21st century, TheChinese female volleyball team has stepped into a renaissance period as many new playersjoined. In the World Cup in2003and the Olympic Games in2004, the Chinese femalevolleyball team repossessed its world champions, which has been missed for almost twentyyears. In the2008Olympic Games, Chinese female volleyball team was the third place,which contains both achievements and pities. Chinese female volleyball team was in the5thplace and failed to become one of the.final four, which makes thousands of people feelsorry. This paper has done a research and study on the games between Chinese femalevolleyball and all of the teams it has met in the2012Olympic Games in London,. Weanalyzed the statistics from the aspects of the physical condition, service effect, attackeffect, and the blocking effect, using the literature research techniques, mathematicalstatistics analytic method, and comparative method. We finally conclude and evaluated theutilization effect of various attacking skills of the Chinese female volleyball team in thecompetition. These are the conclusions we got in the study.1. Body condition: compared with the rivals it met in the games, the Chinese femalevolleyball team takes a slight advantage in height, and absolute advantage in the height ofattacking and blocking.2. Serving aspect: the Chinese volleyball team has an absolute advantage in thejumping serve skill. However, it is quit poor in the power jumping serve skill. Generallyspeaking, the Chinese female volleyball team is on an average level and appears to be tooconservative and not familiar with new skills.3. Attacking aspect: The Chinese female volleyball team is not good enough inattacking skill. And it seemed too be too conservative and reliable comparatively. But itdoesn’t make full use of attacking skill.4. Blocking aspect: the Chinese female team is lower than the average level of the world strong teams. Its shortcomings lie in two aspects, one is low scoring rate and theother is high losing rate. The main reason of this is it has a bad judge on the place of theball and the time to block.Suggestions:1. Enhance physical training, especially the leaping ability and flexibility.2. Enhance the cooperation between the team players and form a secret agreement inthe trainings and games.3. Enhance the training of attacking skills to improve the strength of the attacking andincrease the methods of attacking, which finally aims at stronger aggressiveness.4. To watch more radios of the competitions to accumulate the experience. TheChinese female volleyball team should try to know the rivals.5. To change the conservative mentality of training and competing. Enhance the abilityof players of applying new skills to adapt to the development of the world volleyball game.
