With the rapid development of mobile communication technology today, more and morelearners choose to use the smart mobilephone for learning.Micro lecture, a new approach to learning which can support learners learn wheneverand wherever possibly,and it provides a better platform for more active learners. A wideselection of this technology is currently being at home and abroad, and it have achievedsuccess in the field of informal learning.This paper summarizes the status quo of the implementation of mobile learning in theteaching area and the application of micro lecture,and through learning the teaching guidancedocument of the primary science and the investigation of the primary school science teachers,the researcher found that there are many problems existing in the science teaching of primaryschool. With the informal learning theory, situated cognition theory and learning theory, aftercombining the primary characteristics and the characteristics of primary science, we find thefeasibility of mobile micro lecture in primary science’s informal learning. Through the furtheranalysis on the sixth grade primary science curriculum, the researcher found that the section"the exploration of the universe" can use the mobile micro lecture for learning.With theguidance of teaching objectives and the design principles in this unit,then we achieved theteaching design.Then the Android platform and the advantages of using this platform fordevelopment of micro lecture will be introduced, and then gives the design principles ofmicro lecture based on the Android platform, and introduces micro lecture design process.Finally, the development platform, the technology realization, the key code and the test willbe introduced. The last part of this paper summarizes the research work and the prospect forfuture research.This research is based on the integration of the mobile communication technology andthe primary school science curriculum, and it provides certain help for the formal schoollearning,and it eases the burden of teaching. Moreover it greatly enhances the ability of thestudents’ autonomous learning and active exploration of consciousness. In addition, this studycan provide reference for other courses,and it can be as a model to extend.
