According By using the method of questionnaire survey, field survey method,mathematical statistics method, investigates the present situation of art education inthe Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region12special education schools, aims tounderstand the Xinjiang special education school fine arts disciplines, teachingmethods, teaching plan, and the quality of the teachers and the teachers’ teachingconcept and behavior, the special education school of fine arts curriculumconstruction and teaching management, analysis of existing problems, proposecountermeasures, the maximum compensation for physical and mental defects inthese children, promote their physical and mental development.My special education school covers a full-time nine year compulsoryeducation in the form of running school, preschool education, special educationschools to implement part of joint schools and businesses in the form of highereducation, occupation, into the. School size and class size is smaller, the actualdemand of the special education school. Special education school art curriculumdevelopment is slow, cause the teaching work of art curriculum development moredifficult. Set up a12Special Education School of fine arts curriculum consists of finearts teacher19people, ethnic art teachers only1people, that must promote theconstruction of ethnic art teachers, meet the need of the development of ethnicminority children.Xinjiang Special Education School of art teachers’ professionalstructure is more perfect, teaching field and direction stability, professional facultystructure is reasonable, but the teachers of fine arts education professional low.Various departments of education, schools should strengthen the training, to providemore training opportunities for special education school teachers of fine arts. In theaspect of teaching, the current Xinjiang12special education schools, the use of partof the school art teachers are ordinary school syllabus, part of art teachers don’t haveany teaching reference standard. In the absence of fine arts teaching syllabus andcurriculum standards of special education schools, one can imagine the extent of itsdifficulties. All kinds of special education schools and art teachers are well aware ofthe importance of planning, to complete the teaching plan, the overall situation isgood, accord with the special education school in making teaching plans for.
