Findings suggest that public sports course, Panzhihua University national minority tradition sports project is feasible. First, Panzhihua University superior geographical advantages. In second, the students of ethnic minority’s traditional sports have high interest, subjective on have strong demand. Third, national minority tradition sports equipment on the site requirements is not high, can be made temporarily. Fourth, teachers can basically meet the creation of the national minority tradition sports project need. Fifth, school leaders to set up the national minority tradition sports project indicated a high degree of support.Dissemination and inheritance of the ethnic minorities of China excellent culture, enrich the school teaching content of physical education, Panzhihua University based on the public physical education courses for the national minority tradition sports project has strong feasibility, this paper puts forward the Panzhihua University public sports course of minority traditional sports development strategy.
