Curriculum Design Of Olympiad In Informatics For Junior School Students

National Olympiad in Informatics (NOI) is a competition for junior students in thefield of the information science in China. NOI has a positive effect in terms ofcultivating students’ interest in computer. It can also develop their good study habits,and promote their creative thinking and rigorous scientific style.National Olympiad inInformatics partition League (NOIP) is one of the important events in the NOI serialactivities.Since the NOIP only has a league outline without clearly indicating the specificcontent and its operating means for junior high school Olympiad courses.And in orderto ficilatate the teaching, the design of the curriculum goals and teaching content, aswell as the analysis of teaching methods and teaching evaluation are needed.This article is divided into six parts. Introduction describes the issues raised,significance, research methods, definitions of related concepts; under the guidance ofthe NOIP outline goals, Chapter2gives the stage goal under the syllabus of the courseof the junior high school informatics Olympiad, which takes Chengdu Shishi MiddleSchool Informatics Olympiad course objectives for example; Chapter3analysizes theNOIP outline and the test points of the popularity group of Semi-finals over years, andtaking Chengdu Shishi Middle School Middle School for example, designs the coursedetails and suggested time allocations under the guidance of each target of variousstages; Chapter4analyzes the main teaching approaches of Informatics Olympiadteaching used in Chengdu Shishi Middle School and provides some suggestions tochoose the teaching method, which has taken physiological characteristics and Agefactors of junior high school students into consideration; Chapter5describes the courseevaluation of NOI for senior school students. The last Chapter is some conclusions andthe description of future works.
