The Information Science Olympiad is a kind of programming competition,which is carried out in primary and secondary schools.It is an important way to cultivate computer talents,and it has great significance to the selection and training of computer talents in China.Because the content of information science Olympic Games is abstract and difficult,few students participate in the competition after learning by themselves.At present,most of the primary and secondary school students who participate in the information Olympiad are trained through the information Olympiad courses offered by primary and secondary schools before they go to the competition.However,due to various factors,there are some problems in the course guidance of junior high school Informatics Olympiad,such as insufficient course time,low classroom efficiency,uneven reception level of students,low attention of students in the classroom,which have a certain impact on the final guidance efficiency of the Olympiad.As a new teaching mode,flipped classroom is supported by information technology,which can make up for some disadvantages of traditional classroom.Therefore,this study hopes to apply flipped classroom in junior high school Informatics Olympiad teaching to improve the status quo.First,through consulting the literature,this paper analyzes and summarizes the research status of flipped classroom and information science Olympic Games at home and abroad,and defines the concept of flipped classroom and related theories,which lays a theoretical foundation for the development of this study.Then,through the questionnaire survey,this paper analyzes the current situation of junior high school Informatics Olympiad teaching from the perspective of teachers and students,and summarizes the key problems,which lays the foundation for the follow-up problem-based research.After that,through the analysis of the fit between flipped classroom and Informatics Olympiad,the advantages of flipped classroom are clarified.At the same time,through the analysis of typical flipped classroom teaching mode at home and abroad,this paper constructs a flipped classroom teaching mode which is suitable for junior high school Informatics Olympiad,and it can provide reference for practice.In order to verify the effectiveness of the model,the author designs the empirical research,and gets the experimental data by practice.Finally,through the comparison,analysis and summary of the data,the effectiveness of flipped classroom teaching mode is verified.The conclusion of this paper is that the flipped classroom teaching mode has been applied to the junior high school Informatics Olympiad teaching,and the effect is obvious.Mainly reflected in the following aspects.1.It can improve learning effect.Through the comparative study,it is found that students' mastery of knowledge and skills in the flipped classroom teaching mode are better than those in the traditional classroom.2.It can improve the uneven reception level of students.In the flipped classroom teaching mode,students can choose the viewing times and progress of video according to their own situation before class.In class,students with poor reception can get the help of group members and teachers,and can keep up with the class3.It can enhance students' interest and enthusiasm.The survey shows that the interest and enthusiasm of learning have been improved in the flipped classroom teaching mode.4.It can enhance students' attention.In the flipped classroom teaching mode,the knowledge content is left to the students' autonomous learning before class,and the teachers focus on the students' personalized guidance and organization,which improves the students' attention5.It can improve classroom efficiency.Students have completed the study of the main knowledge content before class,and can get more help from teachers and groups in class,so the learning effect is better and the classroom efficiency is higher.At the same time,group cooperation and incentive measures are adopted in teaching,which can also promote the classroom efficiency.6.It is more conducive to the cultivation of eugenics.In practice,eugenics support flipped classroom,because they can practice after class or watch the teaching video in advance after finished the classroom tasks.The important purpose of information Olympiad is to train excellent students to participate in the competition,so it is very suitable for the goal.The important purpose of information Olympiad is to train excellent students to participate in the competition,so it is very suitable for the goal.On the whole,flipped classroom can solve the main problems in the current junior high school Informatics Olympiad teaching and improve the status quo.
