Since cheer leading aerobics was introduced in China, it’s been developing verywell in Guangzhou, Guangxi, with the coastal cities leading in the area. As it’s wellreceived by various students, cheer leading aerobics has been included in the PEcourse in some of the institutions of higher education (IHE). The tendency is clear thatcheer leading aerobics will gain thorough popularity on the campus of IHE in Hefei.Employing cultural heritage data method,the questionnaire survey、logic analysis,the paper is aimed at the feasibility of having cheer leading aerobics as out classactivity in IHE in Hefei. And the paper will be demonstrated by the four factors:1. thesubject of participation;2. the object of organizing;3. the value of the project and4.the advantages of the activity.Meanwhile, the paper is supposed to point out thedisadvantages lying in the current situation, and to make a plan to improve it, with thehope of the popularity of cheer leading aerobics in IHE.A summary of the concrete conclusions is as follows:1. IHE in Hefei is fundamentally ready for the project in teaching qualifications,primary training condition and hardware condition.2. The majority of the students are for the activity, with the tendency of doing it in theevening, at night or/and on weekends.3. Generally speaking, both the teachers and the students are quite familiar with theactivity, though a few students take a one-sided approach, even think differently onsome characters of a certain sub-project. And although some students have joined inthe activity, the number of them is still relatively small. But the students areenthusiastic about cheer leading aerobics.4. Teachers in Hefei’s IHE encourage the institutions to develop various out classsports activities, with the performing cheer leading aerobics as the main content.They’re also active in directing out class sports activities, eager to be trained anddevoted to the popularity of cheer leading aerobics.5. Cheer leading aerobics obeys the principle that aerobic exercise scientificallycontributes to a healthy body, which helps keep every organ of a body exercising,every jolt exercising effectively and thus keep fit overall. Therefore, cheer leadingaerobics is a new resource to infiltrate into all walks of society and is of greatsignificance to the culture of IHE and the development as well as social ability of thetrainees.Based on the above summary, the author put forward the following plans:1. Drawing lessons from the form of organization of dancing in IHE, and learningfrom the relevant good experience, we plan to promote the project firstly incommunity clubs and then radiate out from the clubs to various areas.2. We’ll try to increase the students’ knowledge of cheer leading aerobicstheoretically and practically, esp. the former one, for a perfect result can’t beachieved without the combination of theory and practice.3. We can modify in a variety of ways to enlarge the promotion of cheer leadingaerobics by way of accelerating the development scale and growth in Institutions of Higher Education in Hefei and giving full play to our advantage in the existingcondition.4. The leading departments in the colleges should implement well the policy ofsuperiors acting and inferiors imitating and intensify the efforts to enhance theteacher resources for cheer leading aerobics to pay more attention to thedevelopment of new industry. Employing the teachers for cheer leading aerobics isa necessary requirement of organizing extracurricular sport activities.5. Establishing the municipal association and league concerned and organizingactively or making arrangements the large competition and performances amonguniversities, in order to enrich the campus life, is the embodiment of culturaldiversity in campus.
