Since cheer-leading was introduced into China, the course of development, development characteristics, development status, development factors and solution strategies has been researched for development. It provides a theoretical basis to better serve the masses. Through research the main conclusions are as follows:1 Cheer-leading in China’s development is divided into three stages: the introduction of China, the initial development, the establishment of the Association, track, organizations, and rapid development.2 The main features of the present stage of cheer-leading are: participation cheer-leading campaign is mainly composed of teenagers, while other populations are undertaken. Activities cheer-leading content, forms are developed by multivariate technology. Cheer-leading promotes the development of the sports industrialization process.3 Present situation of cheer-leading: cheer-leading is popular in the young. It is now specialized managed organization by the State Sports General Administration of the two associations operating supervision and coordination. Cheer-leading all competitions are organized tend to normalization trend. It has a fixed annual event which is organized by the event organization and content in various forms.In the development, it processes to promote the formation of a variety of forms to promote coordination and cooperation, mutual promotion and common development of cheer-leading movement.4 Main factors affecting the development of China’s cheer-leading: cultural differences, ideology, organization and management functions of the government, regional development imbalances, imbalances cheer-leading participants themselves.5 Strategies to promote the development of cheer-leading: strengthen the dissemination, promotion, and relevant government departments should do a good job of macro-control and guidance, and the establishment of "support and encourage" mechanism, developing a variety of cheer-leading movement forms.
