Feasibility Study On The Establishment Of Cheer Leading Course For Sport Education Major Of Xi'an Physical Education Institute

Cheerleading,originated in United States,has a history of more than 100 years.With the vigorous development of Lala gym project,it has attracted many people because of its unique charm,and has become one of the most popular sports.It has been widely promoted by the government.However,at present,the sports talents in China face a particularly difficult situation with demand outstripping supply.Xi' an institute of physical education,as the only professional physical education institution in northwest,should take responsibility for cultivating and exporting sports talents for the five provinces according to the reform of elementary education and the requirement of social development.The author carried out an investigation through questionnaire method,expert interview method,Delphi method,and mathematical statistics method on the subjective conditions and objective conditions in offering the physical education curriculum at Xi'an Physical Education Institute.Moreover,the corresponding suggestions according to the problems and deficiencies were putted forward,in order to provide some reference for launching this course in physical education major at Xi'an Physical Education Institute.The findings are as follows:Firstly,it is feasible to offer cheerleading courses in physical education major at Xi'an Physical Education Institute.From the objective aspect,The teaching course for cheerleading courses is abundant,and the teaching facilities,facilities and funds are basically adequate.The larger of the project support based on the increase in the number of competition and competition to expand the scale,to stimulate China's basic education and society of Cheerleading talent demand,driven the development of China's education and economy,to further improve the physical education professional employment rate.From the subjective aspect,the teachers and students in our institute have a high degree of recognition and love for cheerleading courses in physical education majors,so it is necessary to open this course in our major;All above positive factors provide a solid foundation and guarantee for the offering of cheerleading course in physical education.Secondly,Some problems and deficiencies are existed in the physical education curriculum of Xi'an Physical Education Institute.Because the project curriculum theory system is imperfect,the project characteristic is not outstanding,At the same time,there is a certain potential threat between it and similar projects&emerging projects.Furthermore,as the project does not belong to the Olympic projects,the acceptation by the leadership in the project is not high enough,and the college revised the professional training program,reducing a certain number of hours.These factors are not conducive to the offering of the course in Xi'an Physical Education Institute.Thirdly,under the guidance of national policy,the problems and deficiencies of the cheerleading curriculum in Xi'an Physical Education Institute can be improved,and they can be changed from threat to opportunity.Thereby,it creates the possibility of the offering of cheerleading curriculum for the major.According to the results,the following suggestions are put forwarded:Firstly,We should take the advantage of external opportunities,seize the current opportunity,offer a optional course for the major,and set up the cheerleading community;broaden students' professional skills,expand students' employment chance.Secondly,in response to the call of the government,leaders of the school strengthen the importance of the Lala gym project,and revise its training programme;Set up the special subject group of Lala gym,highlight the characteristics of the Lala gym project,and develop the cheerleading curriculum materials,improve the curriculum system,and offset the shortage in this field at domestic.Thirdly,learn from the successful experience at home and abroad,Set up college cheerleading WeChat public platform and Hierarchy of athletes,organize the competition and expand the scale of the contest,raise the excellence of the competition,Strengthen exchanges among schools in China establish the grade system of Lala gym athletes,and promote the broad development of sunshine sports.
