| These years,one of the most important things which the educators are having been thinking is about how to improve the efficiency of the lecture in the classroom.As long as the development of the multimedia technology, multimedia courseware is more and more useful during the lectue.It is worthy to discuss how to make the multimedia courseware work the best.During the classroom,teachers often give lessons with text and pictures.It is meaningful to find out the interaction of the pictures and the text.It has a practical significance to improve the efficiency of the lecture. Eye tracker application allows us to have a clearer understanding of the processing of the pictures and text.There were45college students took part in this experiment as the participants.The main goal of this sudy was to investigate the effect of color coding on learning by examining learning outcomes and eye movement measures.When the participants viewed the different multimedia coursware,the eye tracker application recorded the characteristics of the eye movements. After viewing the multimedia coursware,the participants took a retention test and a transfer test..The experiment is2×2two-element complete random design.According to the statistics of the data, the main conclusions are as follows:1. Color coding may have influence on locating related information quickly between the text and the illustration.2. It seems obvious that it is easier for the reader to integrate information of the text and the illustraion when the text in the illustration. |
