Different Color Text. Multimedia Courseware Action Research, Material On The Reading Eye

Using 3200 model Evm tracker produced by American applied Science Laboratory ,we monitored the process of undergraduates' reading Multimedia courseware and recorded correlate eye movement date. Results are follow:First of all ,material and colour have an significant influence on reading. The scores of reading Chinese character are better than those of reading English words . the degree of knowing about material effects remembering and understanding. The grap of culture meaning of material has also influence on reading effect . The more knowing about material , the easier establishing association and promoting remembering.Secondly, different colourful materials presented respectively have different reading effects. That trend embody in all of eye movement index. The materials of red and black have more chances to be fixed and the effect of yellow is worst. Red material is easy to be remembered.At last ,different colour materials presented simultaneously have different trends. There is significant difference between Chinese character and English words . For Chinese character,the blue is best and the black is worst. For English words, the black is best and the blue is worst . There are interactions effect between colour and material.
