This research draw up a test volume of the primary pupils’standard in solving fractional word problem about multiplication and division by combining the mathematics professional scholar’s research results and the front-line of elementary school’s mathematics teacher’s experience.It is proved to have a good test reliability and validity through the prediction and adjustment with SPSS19.0data processing software. Not only the analysis gives us some informtion about students’problem solving level among different types between different schools, different gender, also gives teachers a few teaching and evaluation reference suggestions.This study selects three sixth-grade classes as the object of study,which are choosed in each of Fengming primary school,Fengcheng primary school and Chuandi primary school in Jincheng,Shanxi Province, The survey instrument is the papers of " the primary pupils’ standard in solving fractional word problem about multiplication and division " and the data analysis tools are SPSS19.0data processing software and EXCEL versions of WPS2012. The results are as follows:1. Analysis of the papers and questions(1) The papers’s Cronbach’s a is0.795.(2) The papers has a good content validity(3) The papers has a variety of question types, a more reasonable distribution(4)The papers’s average difficulty is0.56.It’s a moderate degree of the questions.2.The analysis result:(1) Multiplication and division word problems for pupils Score average problem-solving level is2.86, it’s in the middle level.(2) Pupils fraction multiplication and division word problems solving level in dimension one is3.67, dimension two is2.87, Dimension three is only1.52.It shows that the conceptual knowledge of students’fractional multiplication and division is better than the ability of analysis, and it is still relatively lacking in logic utilization.(3)It has differences in primary pupils’standard in solving fractional word problem about multiplication and division amang different school. Students in city or district is higher than the students in county, students in county is higher than the students in village or township,but the difference is not significant.(4) There is not have significant difference between the girls and the boys in solving fractional word problem about multiplication and division,but the girls’s problem-solving level in level3is slightly better than the boys.
