Junior High School Students Use Mathematics To Solve Practical Problems Of Teaching And Research

Nowadays, many Chinese middle-school students are not good at solving practical problems. It is important to study how to make students work out those problems with the help of math. However, as for the research of "combining teaching theory and practice together", many results can’t be easily applied into every case.There are some research fruits on how to train the ability of solving practical problem with math. This paper shows some personal understandings and explains the concept and meaning of cognition. Meanwhile, it explains the practical problem theoretically and the concept of math practical problem. The paper also analizes the factors which affect students’ ability of solving practical problem with math. By investigating174students, this paper gets a result which needs further experiment:it is helpful to improve math level by having good study habits, strong application concept and healthy psychological quality.In the facts analysis part, it gives the idea and method of improving students’ problem-solving ability. First, teachers should pay more attention to basic education. Second, teachers should train students’math concept and healthy psychological quality. Finally, teachers should set a correct teaching goal so as to stimulate students’interest in leaning and using math.
