The ancient Chinese sage Confucius once passed Confucian classics culturethrough "dialogue”, promoted Confucian political ideal through the way of travelling.Nowadays, the concept and importance of communication is remarkably highlightedunder the background of new media. The rapid development and popularity of newmedia in Chinese colleges and universities, provides new communication channels foradministrators, and changes the concept, content and method of communicationmethod in ideological and political education etc. New media has been anindispensable part of ideological and political education communication. How to avoiddisadvantages, make full use of advantages, build, manage and make good use of newmedia is worth thinking about. Therefore, the paper has important significance onideological and political education, ideological and political education work in collegesand universities and all-round development of college students.The paper is composed of four chapters. The first chapter is introduction, detailedin this background, research significance, research status at home and abroad,thethoughts of researches, method and innovation points.The second chapter gives new concepts related on the basis of researches at homeand abroad and conclusions. Also, it expounds the theoretical and realistic basis, pointsout the relationship between the new media and ideological and political educationcommunication, reveals the characteristics of the ideological and political educationunder the influence of new media communication.In the third chapter, through the design of questionnaire and interviews, doresearches on college students’ use of new media and the attitude to it, etc. Andintegrate data; analyze the impact of new media for communication, and in-depthprobe the cause of influence.The fourth chapter is the emphasis and main innovation points of the paper. In thischapter, put forward some creative countermeasures such as actively expanding theideological and political education communication in new media space, optimizing theexternal environment, mending the mechanism of ideological and political educationcommunication, improving consciousness and abilities of the ideological and politicaleducation colleagues and students to use new media communication etc.
