Study On Muslim Women’s Sports Development

Strong connection between religion and sport, a lot of religious and cultural factors in the form of early sports, many sports also provides power for the progress of the religious culture. With the development of The Times, religious and social things separate, sports have become an independent mature field. People of different religious beliefs can be involved in the same sports together. Among them, the Islamic women’s participation in sports has experienced a long historical process, the process is and women thought liberation and women’s social status increase closely related, is also inseparable from the Islamic status change of the internal Muslim women. Therefore, it belongs to the category of the feminist movement field, and also belongs to the category of the religion, and these two factors affect that Muslim women participate in competitive sports and sports management. Muslim women’s participation in sport, in other words, the history of the trajectory, and the world within the scope of women’s participation in sports track, but time is relatively late, resistance and to break through the obstacles is relatively more.Academia less attention on Muslim women to participate in sports, because China itself is concerned, China pursues a policy of the national equality, did not stand out at the sports selection or match national identity, merit, relatively the problem also is not particularly outstanding. But I am working on a master’s graduate students had eight years of work experience before, several times to perform some project in Pakistan and Bangladesh, both countries are traditional and typical Islamic country, has a distinct social characteristics and religious atmosphere. The Islamic state of women’s sports development is still lags behind, which causes the thinking of him, on the basis of systematically combing literature and field survey, carried out this topic research, roughly the content is as follows:The first part is the introduction. Systematically introduces and reviews the Muslim women participate in the academic history of sports, comb dialectically the relationship between sport and religion and focuses on the conditions of women’s participation in sport. The second part is the Muslim women’s status and sports. This section from the gender power in sports game, the changes of the Muslim women’s status, and the self-improvement of Islam to the Muslim women’s social status change has carried on the system analysis, pointed out that the enhanced role of Muslim women’s social status and religious laid the foundation for them to participate in sports.The third part is the development of Muslim women to participate in sports. From the historical context, this paper discusses the germination and development of the Muslim women to participate in sports, and emphatically describes the China and western countries, especially the Arab Muslim women sports present situation, fully presented in the development of sports the imbalance of gender, geography, religion, etc.The fourth part is the conclusion. On the basis of the research, the paper analyzes the Muslim women’s participation in sports still exist many problems, and views are offered on the future prospects for development.
