Dialogue as a spirit of the time, dialogue teaching is the response of the spirit of the time in the education field. In the new round of education and teaching reform at the beginning of the new century, dialogue teaching comes into people’s vision, and has gradually attracted people’s attention. Dialogue teaching is a kind of teaching respecting subjectivity, embodying creativity, pursuing humanity. The characteristics of dialogue teaching involve democracy and equality, exchange and cooperation, opening and generating, people-oriented, these features have important promoting function for the goal of high middle school history teaching such as cultivating students’ humanistic spirit, the spirit of innovation. In view of the lack of current research on dialogue of history teaching in senior high school teaching, this paper, at the base of the depiction of the dialogue teaching theory, researches two aspects of theory and practice for the implementation of dialogue teaching in history teaching in senior middle school.The first chapter introduces the connotation of spirit of the times dialogue and the response of the spirit in education--dialogue teaching. dialogue teaching is not only a kind of teaching mode but also a kind of teaching idea. Then traces the origin of the thought of dialogue teaching, introduces two great east-west axis era of Confucius and Socrates dialogue teaching thought; and summarizes the development of the contemporary of dialogue teaching, finally expounds the development mode and characteristics of the dialogue teaching.The second chapter discusses the value of dialogue teaching, including the theoretical value and practical value. And then focuses on the combination of teaching dialogue with the high school history teaching,on the one hand,"the ordinary high school history course standard (Experiment)" on the history of functional requirements and the dialogue teaching concept extremely consistent, dialogue teaching development theory needs the practice platform; on the other hand, the characteristics of history subject is satisfied the requirements of the teaching content of the dialogue teaching, resulting in the necessity and feasibility of the combination of the two.The third chapter,discusses the implementation strategy of dialogue teaching in history teaching in senior middle school from the perspective of dialogue teaching elements. This paper focuses on the specific implementation is not a kind of teaching mode how to implement, but the philosophy of dialogue teaching in history teaching in high school history teaching how to better carry out. This article from the composition of dialogue teaching elements of teacher, students, environment, evaluation methods discusses the implementation of dialogue teaching, including improving the quality of history teachers, dialogue ability of students, suitable dialogue environment and changing in evaluation methods etc..Dialogue teaching as a new form of teaching, in the implementation process will inevitably encounter all kinds of obstacles. At last the paper interprets two major factors which restricts the dialogue teaching in terms of the quality of teachers in micro and social environment in macro, and concludes that dialogue teaching has the advantage to practice further.makes an optimistic expectation on the further.
