Color teaching was an important part of infant painting education. There weresome misunderstandings in conceptions, methods and achievement evaluations ofinfant color teaching nowadays. This has directly affected the function developmentof color painting education. In this thesis, the conceptions, methods and strategies ofinfant color teaching were studied to develop the function of art education.Firstly, the foreign and domestic theories, conceptions, characteristics andprinciples of infant color teaching were explained in this article; Secondly, theteaching circumstance, methods and evaluation problems were discussed; Thirdly,the opinion that the teaching methodology should be suit for the subject developmentof mind and body of the infant was proposed. The teacher should guide andencourage the infant to express their feeling freely through color paintings. Five keystrategies included the color appreciation, situated instruction, instruments andmaterials, planarity painting and achievement evaluations of the infant color teachingwere suggested; At the last combined color teaching cases and outcome exhibition,the values were discussed in the promotions of beauty appreciation, perception,imagination and creativity of the infant.
