Traditional Culture Under The Perspective Of Life View Of College Student Research

As our society witnesses a high-speed economy growth, its achievement in social rules and morality relatively lags behind. Despite the quick development in high education, some problems should not be neglected. Under the pressures of job-hunting, academic studies, emotions, personal relationships and so on, it becomes not rare for college students to commit suicide or crime, from which we can see their ignorance to life. In order to solve those problems, it is urgent for college to conduct education on view of life. The view of life-a science transmitted from the west, is a research branch of life education. If study and do research on it, it is meaningful in both theoretical and practical respect for us to seek help from Chinese traditional culture because it contains much wisdom in life philosophy whose core idea is the value of life.As to literature analysis, the author sorts out the representative views of life in Chinese traditional culture; and as to questionnaire survey, the view of life is investigated among students in Jiangsu University of Science and technology and Jiangsu University, the author does factor analysis, descriptive analysis and correlation analysis to those data from questionnaire. The outcome shows:the surveyed have some recognition on equality and single dimension of life; lots of students do not have a clear mind when they have to make a choice in love relationships and in life; they are confused about the definition of success and are inclined to be money-worshipers; they lack anti-frustration ability, some students feel pressures in study, living and emotions; some of them do not have a clear goal to work hard towards; students nowadays are somewhat more self-centered, who believe one should live for his/herself;. relationships between peers and family members have obvious effects on student’s view of life.Based on the research outcomes, this dissertation puts forward three suggestions to improve the view of life among college students:with the help of internet, encourage on inheriting traditional culture and make full use of the educational function of it; educate the students on view of life based on our splendid traditional culture; pay attention to education on the family morality so as to create a harmonious and democratic environment for students to cultivate a healthy view of life, thus enhancing their comprehensive quality.
