The Impact Of Internet Culture On University Students’ Understanding Of Values And Its Teaching Guiding Policy

After the emergence into china since1994, Internet had developed rapidly which produced one kind of new culture-network culture. The emergence of network culture causes the deep influence on the university student’s study, life and values. Network culture has its double function, which provides university students’understanding of values with one of the important cultural basis and brings universities about new ways and chances for the education of understanding of values. But at the same time, some diverse internet information has a bad influence on university student’s understanding of values and affects the healthy growth of students, which also brings about challenges for university’s education of understanding of values.In order to help university students to set up scientific values, the author composed this thesis based on proceeding research and the actual situations.The thesis consists of three parts, in first part, it analyzes the inner relationship between the internet culture and the forming of university students’ conceptions of value。Firstly, it narrates the connotation, the features and functions of internet culture and the university students’understanding of values. Then, it analyzes the relationship between the formation of university student’s understanding of values and the internet culture in detail, which points out that the internet culture, is the important cultural foundation of the formation of university students’understanding of values. In part two, it narrates the dual influences of internet culture on university students’value and analyzes the reasons from society, university and university students themselves. In part three, it puts forward the guiding policy to guide undergraduates to set up scientific value under the surrounding of internet culture, firstly, it advocates government’s authoritative function to set up laws to supervise the internet and enhances the input and support on web technique’s development, and then makes a clean and healthy website for undergraduates;secondly,it advocates to help undergraduates to set up scientific understanding of values based on social primary conceptions of value and construct healthy campus internet culture with advanced traditional culture; at the same time, university should improve the staffs moral education level and enriches campus internet moral education to induct healthy development of undergraduates’understanding of values. In the end, university students themselves should learn to be self-control and get a good choice of internet moral values on their own. In this way we can get rid of the disadvantages of internet culture to help undergraduates to set up scientific understanding of values.
