This paper mainly focused on the effect and meaning of careers guidance on vocationalcollege. The inherent regulation of the university employment was explored and the relevancebetween careers guidance and other factors was also revealed. Thus, this paper would be thebasic data for various fields such as the employment, work, and statistics and these werealways published by education departments. Then it explored the reform countermeasure ofcareers guidance in vocational college conforming to current social situation. Practically, withthe developing in the careers guidance system, this can facilitate the employment rate ofgraduates in macroscopic perspective as well as improve the quality of employment. So thispractice can maintain the social stability and guarantee the sustainable development ofcolleges.This paper was divided into four sections. Firstly, the characteristics of the vocationalcolleges and their students were described. Meanwhile, some problems and solutions werediscussed, for example, unclear development goal, deviating school systems, irregularvocational college law, backward teaching conditions, low recognition of the general publicand so on.The second part mainly described the concept, background and features of careersguidance in vocational college. Therefore, the background of the careers guidance invocational education was discussed and the current employment status was analyzed. Thispart also studied the effects of careers guidance on students who was educated and trained invocational college and their own survival and development. Besides, the concept and contentof careers guidance were defined. The meaning and necessity of careers guidance wereexplained from the aspects of direction about the employment of college students as well astheir own survival and development.The third section primarily analyzed the existing problems of the careers guidance invocational college. The relevance between careers guidance and other factors was revealedand the drawbacks of careers guidance management system in vocational college wereexplored. Thus, this paper searched a new way to solve these problems and these methods contributed to forming academic theories and practices, and these achievements wouldprovide feedbacks to present employment guidance system in vocational college. Besides, thenegative phenomenon, especially the less emphasis by leaders and the lack sense of urgency,existing in the implementing of careers guidance was analyzed. On the other hand, vocationaleducation was still unrecognized by the society because of the traditional concept and thehigh expectation of parents on their children. The fact is that the gap between the vocationalcollege education and the vocational education was existed. So this situation leads to the lackof systematization, professionalism and professional ideas in education. Although somevocational colleges established the employment guidance agencies, like the employmentguidance center, they did not play a practical function. Furthermore, the careers guidance wasshort of the perfect job tracking system and the information sharing platform was notestablished well. Thus, this section mainly illustrated the development status of careersguidance from above referred five aspects.The last section mainly discussed the aspects of the change in the guidance of the schoolwork and building a diversified employment market etc. in order to improve the level ofvocational guidance work, while in terms of the students, they should cultivate theemployment qualities such as hard working, focusing on policy etc. to solve the employmentguidance problems. Besides, this section analyzed how to build the employment guidancesystem as well as some problems in vocational college. This analysis effectively improved theunderstanding of careers guidance and recognized the relationship between vocationalguidance and careers guidance. More importantly, vocational college should pay closerattention to the importance and particularity of careers guidance and it was important forvocational college to build the close relationship between the careers guidance and thehands-on exercises.
