Study On Factors Related To Vocational College Students For Psychological Counseling Acceptance

This thesis mainly Explores the related factors on acceptance of psychological counse ling of Higher Vocational College Students accept, mainly from the knowledge, attitudes, behavior,demographic variables and individual personality characteristics. Psychological c ounseling for students in vocational colleges mainly refers to cognitive acceptance behavi or and attitudes accepted.The survey found that Higher Vocational College Students in acc eptance of psychological counseling will be affected by the many factors,such as gender, f amily income, place of origin, father highest level of education, school and the Big Five p ersonality characteristics.The factors which impact cognitive accepted of Higher Vocation al College Students to the psychological counseling are gender (t=0.026*)and the Big Fi ve personality characteristics.The factors which have a significant impact on the attitude a ccepted of psychological counseling are gender (t=0.000***), origin (F=3.536*), scho ol (F=8.107***) and the big Five personality characteristics.The factors which have a si gnificant impact on the behavior accepted of the psychological counseling are family inco me (F=4.432*), father education (F=5.926***), school (F=3.156*) and the big Five personality traits are extraversion, agreeableness and conscientiousness. The personality fa ctors are the common factors which affect the vocational college students. By comparing t he mean or multiple comparison procedures we found that these factors have a positive or negative effect.The factors which have a different or opposite role in counseling cognitive acceptance, attitude and behavior acceptable are gender, help experience, personality (neu roticism, openness, agreeableness, conscientiousness). Through counseling cognitive acce pted hierarchical regression analysis revealed that demographic variables explain only1.3%, personality-level factors that explain the variance equation10.8%, while the attitude an d behavior counseling level factors explained21.1%of the variance equation. By stepwise regression analysis, the regression equation of vocational colleges in psychological couns eling cognitive accepted has the role of predictive factors which can predict power by desc ending order which are psychological counseling for behavioral acceptance, attitude accep tance, confidence sexual dimension, agreeableness high scorers vs low scorers, agreeablen ess intermediary vs low scorers, extraversion high scorers vs low scorers, junior vs freshm an, gender, experience and family assistance per capita monthly income. By stepwise regre ssion analysis, attitude of acceptance for psychological counseling equations predict the fa ctors that have predictive power by descending order which are agreeableness intermediar y vs low scorers, agreeableness high scores vs low scorers, acceptable behavior for psych ological counseling, gender, Accepted for cognitive psychological counseling, Neuroticis m High scorers vs low scorers, nervousness intermediary vs low scorers, junior vs freshma n, metropolitan vs rural, help experience, extraversion intermediary vs low scores.These fa ctors can jointly predict subjects’attitude of acceptance of psychological counseling for26.5%of the variance. By stepwise regression analysis, psychological counseling for behavio r accepted by the equation predict descending order which are dimension of trust attitude o f acceptance cognitive psychological counseling, conscientiousness high scores vs low sco rers, conscientiousness intermediary vs low scores,the openness dimension of attitudes, h ousehold per capita monthly income, the level of understanding of psychology, the needs d imensions of attitudes.These can jointly predict the behavior of acceptance for psychologi cal counseling for34.9%of the variance.
