follow three same principles, namely overall principle,ordered principle and feedback principle.Teaching system is a special system of social activities, which is composed by complexededucational elements. This paper based on the two concepts and author’s understanding ofbiology teaching, summed up the concept of biology teaching systems:it is a complexed organicwhole which is formed by the spatial elements such as biology teachers, students, biologicalmaterials and biology teaching media,and the time elements such as biology teaching goals,teaching philosophys,and teaching activities,etc. In order to achieve the specific functions ofbiology teaching,all the elements are composing in a certain structural order,existing in aregular interaction and connection,and relating with the external environment.This research considers “Biology Teaching System” as its subjects,and uses literature study,induction and deduction, interview methods as its major methods. By studying the biologyeducation monographs and curriculum standards of high school, the related content of systemscience, education and psychology, the author classified biology teaching system into ninesub-systems, which are teaching time and space systems, course structure system, teachingobjectives system, teaching content system, teaching philosophy system, teaching theoriessystem, teaching methods system and teaching evaluation system, and made the appropriateanalysis shows.The research is divided into seven parts, the five parts of the study in the front carried outdefining the concepts of the reserch, specifying the appropriate theoretical foundation, analyzingnecessity of the research, explaining the methods, procedures and the principleof the research.The sixth part is the results, and also the center and gravity of this paper, describing the ninesub-systems of the biology teaching system. Part VII is the conclusion part, discussing the basicconclusions of this study briefly, and the inadequacies and a theory needed to be explained,which is the presence of non-system theory and its relationship with biology teaching.It is important to put forward the biology teaching system. It grasped the relationship between all aspects of the biology teaching in the systematic and overall ways, it helped teachersthinking from the perspective of biological disciplines, rather than simply from their ownteaching, it helped teachers clarify thire position of themselves in the entire biology teaching, itprovided a corresponding theoretical basis for the biological teaching practice.
