| Three-view drawing is one of the bases of solid geometry. Drawing three viewsof the space geometry and then restoring its illustrative diagram is the foundation ofthe space idea as well as an effective way to practice students’ geometric intuitionability. In the survey of the College Entrance Examination in recent years, it is acommonplace question type to seek for the volume or superficial area of theillustrative diagram by three-view drawing. The nature of this question type is torestore its illustrative diagram from three-view drawing; therefore, it is extremelyimportant to gasp the knowledge of this part. However, at the same time, it is a hugeheadache for the students in view of its high requirement on students’ logic thinkingand spatial imagination ability. As a result, the right way to lay a solid foundationfor students to develop their space idea, logic thinking and spatial imagination abilityis to investigate the reason of senior one students’ difficulty on restoring illustrativediagram from three-view drawing and to find out its exact solution and concretemethod to restore illustrative diagram. This paper obtains some existing problems in the process of restoring illustrativediagram from three-view drawing by making a survey on380senior students fromLicheng, Changle No.2High School and Zhangdian No.1High School by means ofquestionnaire survey method and interviewing method. The problems are as follows:Having not analyzed carefully the features of drawings on tree views, the studentsbegin to restore; In the process of restoring, they don’t think over restoring methodaccording to characters of drawings; The picture on paper can’t reflect their thinking; They don’t have a clear idea about how three-view drawings are formed; On checking, they only draw one or two geometry views instead of three; They don’t draw carefullyand regulatedly and don’t coordinate full line and dotted line to geometry’s length, width and heightThe concrete reasons of students’ difficulty on restoring illustrative diagram fromthree-view drawings based on the interview and the conclusion are as follows: Thereis not a clear knowledge frame in their mind and flexible thinking owing to students’weak and one-sided basic knowledge; They do less and rely on their own experience blindly and dumbly; They only depend on their imagination; Teachers don’t displaythe restoring process distinctly by leaving out the use of multi-media method; A badlearning habit and attitude, laziness, fickleness and fluke mind are also uncommon.Their spatial imagination ability and operating ability are not so good; They are scaredof math because of listening to the blind evaluation on math from other students anddare not to ask for advice on the knowledge which is not understood by them;Teachers have low demands on their students and don’t offer enough time whenletting them do relatively complex restoration.According to the survey result, I put forward the following teaching methods: Itis teachers’ duty to pay attention to the coherence of the knowledge to help studentslay a solid foundation and form a clear structure, then achieve mastery through acomprehensive study; Teachers ought to correct students’ learning attitude and habitand make them check more steadily and diligently when necessary; Teachers shouldadjust students’ doing time according to the level of difficulty of question types inorder to improve efficiency and meanwhile, not make students neglect the qualitywhile seek for speed blindly; All kinds of question types should be given to studentswhen students are doing exercises about restoration lest they form a stereotypedthinking pattern. Facing up to math and students’ own ability and avoiding the blindconfidence and fear for math are also worth recommending; For what students don’tunderstand, encouraging students to consul is feasible largely; They are supposed topay more attention to foster students’ spatial imagination and operating ability viaproviding students some three-dimensional graphics in daily life. If in teaching thispart, the condition permits, multi-media Is necessary to show the geometrical dynamicprocess. In this way, it is more intuitive to show students the forming process ofthree-view drawing and much easier for students to lay a solid foundation. |
