The current goal of education reform in China is to strengthen moral education.The key point of moral education is dialectical materialism education.The teaching content of biology is full of dialectical materialism.Applying dialectical materialism in high school biology teaching can not only train students' logical dialectical thinking,promote personal development,but also improve China's international competitiveness.The purpose of this paper is to study the application of dialectical materialism in senior high school biology teaching.In this study,literature analysis was used to consult relevant domestic and foreign references,and questionnaire surveys and interviews were used to investigate the attitudes and practical applications of high school biology teachers in the Y area of Jiangsu Province on the teaching of connection view and development view.(1)Teachers didn't pay enough attentions to connection view and development view;(2)Teachers didn't sort out and integrate the contents which were suitable for applying connection view and development view in textbooks;(3)The timing,duration and depth of teachers'application of connection view and development view in teaching were not properly grasped;(4)There was a lack of relevant teaching evaluation mechanism for applying connection view and development view.In view of the problems existing in application of connection and development in senior high school biology teaching,the following research was carried out:(1)Combining the characteristics of philosophy education and biology,the principles of applying connection view and development view in high school biology teaching were studied;(2)The knowledge points which were suitable for applying connection view and development view in the compulsory 1-3 courses of biology textbooks published by People's Education Press were summarized;(3)Taking "The Flowing Mosaic Model of Biomembrane" in compulsory 1 as an example,the approach of applying connection view and development view in senior high school biology teaching were studied.It was mainly about the application of connection view and development in the introduction of new course,history of science teaching,interdisciplinary teaching,unit summary,exercise consolidation and other links.At the same time,constructed the evaluation index of the application of connection view and development view,and carried out teaching reflection on after-class in time.The analysis of the data obtained after teaching practice showed that there was no significant improvement in the performance of the students in the experimental group.However,through the questionnaire survey to the students in the experimental group it was found that they were more enthusiastic about biology and better at using biological knowledge to analyze practical problems.Therefore,the application of connection view and development view in biology teaching could arouse students' interests in learning biology,cultivate students' value orientation,optimize teaching process and improve teaching quality.In addition,the completion degrees of learning tasks of six students with different levels of academic achievement(the grades were good,medium or poor,respectively)in the experimental class were investigated.All aspects of the core biological literacy of students with different levels of academic achievement were developed after accepting the teaching of applying connection view and development view.Through researching principles and teaching implementation process of applying connection view and development view in senior high school biology teaching,this study provided theoretical reference and teaching cases demonstration for biology educators to apply connection view and development view in senior high school biology teaching.
