There are about66000taxies and10milloon taxi drivers in Beijing currently. Faced with this large group, we need to deeply understand their working and living conditions. However, in the process of survey questionnaire and interview,most taxi drivers reflect the problem of work-life balance conflicts. But most of the relevant research literature and news reports focused on the results of the work-life balance conflicts like the condition of the physical health, time of the working, rather than the reason how to cause the work-life balance conflicts.The main object of this thesis is to research the Beijing taxi drivers’ work-life balance based on the currently relevant literature in the way of qualitative and quantitative methods.The conclusions of this paper include the following informations:(1) The level of the Beijing taxi drivers’ work-life balance is lower.(2) Based on the model built on this research, there are four factors that influence on the degree of the drivers’ work-life balance, such as demographic variables, e.g. age, marital status; the condition of working, e.g. years of working, the satisfaction of income, working hours, wheather the working hour is fixed, wheather the diet is regular, work pressure, the satisfaction of working, the condition of physical health, work on the living conditions; family, e.g. the number of children, spouse’s income; the institution of enterprise, e.g. car rental charges, wheather appoint the maintenance sites, insurance system, labor contract system.(3) There is no significant difference of the drivers’ work-life balance in different company.
