Research On National Defense Consciousness Of Students In Higher Vocational Colleges

To strengthen national defense education of students in vocational colleges is helpful to improve their national defense consciousness and ability, which can enhance the national defense reserve forces. In this study, a survey based on "College Students’National Defense Consciousness Scale" was carried out, analyzing the differences of their national defense awareness. And it also makes some exploration on the influence of military course on college students’national defense consciousness through the comparison of different teaching methods.This study consists of four chapters:The first chapter is introduction.The second chapter is the study of the present situation of the national defense awareness of vocational school students and its reason. The author, taking minxi vocational school students as the research sample, using stratified random sampling method, to distribute the scale of the vocational school students’ national defense consciousness, use support of SPSS11.5statistic analysis software, to analyse the difference of students’ consciousness of national defense contemporary between liberal and arts students, high and low grade, men and women students, and students from large cities and small and medium-sized cities, villages and towns. And to analyse the reason of these differences, conclude that the characteristics of vocational school students’ national defense consciousness.The third chapter is the military theory class and teaching method of vocational school students to explore the influence of the national defense consciousness. In the freshman brought by the author, choose3class at random, two classes in the experimental group, respectively, the implementation of teaching method and discussion method, the control group not to carry out military theory class teaching Through the three class defense consciousness of measured before and after the comparison, discusse the different teaching methods to improve the effectiveness of students’ consciousness of national defense, aims to explore the effective teaching method to improve students’ consciousness of national defense. Military course should be open in vocational colleges as it can significantly improve the students’ consciousness of national defense.The fourth chapter is to explore countermeasure. According to the characteristics of the national defense consciousness of vocational school students, put forward the ideas and the way that helps to enhance the defense consciousness of vocational school students.
