Parent-child relationship is the initial relationship in one’s life, and it’s also one of the most important relationship of each family. The quality of parent-child relationship has a crucial impact on the growth and development of the child over a long period of time, Good parent-child relationship could promote the children to learn knowledge and skills actively and have a positive attitude towards some difficulties and problems encountered in the process of growing, on the contrary, if there is poor communication exist in the parent-child situation, it will have an impact on children’s mental health and lead to a series of behavioral problems.With the continuous development of China’s economy and society as well as the progress of urbanization, a large number of rural surplus labors come to urban areas to make livings and family-oriented trend has been formed, migrant children is the special group who engendered just in this circumstance. In recent years, due to the increasing number of migrant children, many problems they involved caused widespread concern in the social. Academic study on the problems of migrant children more concentrated on schooling, hosting, city integration and other aspects, and relatively, few attention has been gived for practice research on migrant children’s living conditions and heart trouble which need to come into their family.This paper unfolded upon a very important issue that affecting migrant children’s physical and mental health--the parent-child relationship issues. I take a intervention study of the parent-child relationship in a mobile home applying the theory and methods of structural family therapy, and make an conclusion that structural family therapy could provide effective help to the problems of parent-child relationship of migrant children, and it can prompt continuous improvement to occur. In order to make it blend into Chinese society well and provide more service for needy families, this paper also gives some views for the development of the structural family therapy in China.
