The education of ideal and belief is the core of the ideological and political education. It concerns the healthy growth and all-round development of college students, and more about the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the realization of the Chinese dream. After the90college students’ ideal faith is generally positive, but a part of the post-90s college students has not been set up ideal belief and their deviation of ideal and belief occur. This article draws on theoretical knowledge of youth, psychology, and put forward theoretical basis of ideals and beliefs. On the basis of a lot of questionnaires and interviews, it summarizes the current situation of students’ ideal and faith. In the end, it puts forward the principles and methods to guide students’ ideal and faith in order to improve the effectiveness of the ideal and belief education of college students after90. The thesis is divided into three parts totally:Part one:"the necessity of guiding after the90college students establish the ideal faith". This part analyze mainly from three angles:Firstly, setting up the ideal faith is the inherent requirement of youth development, and it follows the objective law of the development of the youth. Secondly, setting up the ideal faith is the objective demand of after the90college students’healthy growth.Thirdly, guiding after the90college students set up the ideal and faith, is conducive to the realization of the Chinese dream. This part is logic premise of the thesis.Part two:"guiding after the90college students set up the basic principles of ideal and faith". It illustrates the basic principles mainly from three aspects:Firstly, combining the education of social ideal, long-term ideal, lofty ideal with the education of personal ideals, the recent ideal, the general ideal; Secondly, combining solving practical problems with guiding the ideal faith; Thirdly, combining the ideal faith education with the value choice and value judgment education. The three principles to guide the university students after90setting up the ideal faith. This Part is logic development of the thesis.Part three:the main method of guiding college students after90set up ideal faith. On the basis of the second part of this part and the enhanced effect of ideal faith education, we put forward the main ways to guide college students’ ideal faith: the ideological and political theory course, campus culture and social practice. These methods is to better enhance the Pertinence and effectiveness of college students’ ideal faith education. This part is logic destination of the thesis.
