Research On Sports Tourism Resources Development Of Beibei, Chongqing

With the rapid development of economy, the tourism industry has become an important part of China’s economic. As a special tourism, sports tourism has more than30years of history in China. Nowadays, with the continuous growth of China’s national income and enhancement of spending power, people attach more importance on sports and are willing to spend more and more time on them. Traditional tourism projects are hard to meet people’s diverse, multi-level needs, so it’s necessary to change the content, form and structure of traditional tourism projects. Integrating recreation, fitness and rehabilitation, sports tourism fills the vacancies in the market and develops fast. But the development of sports tourism of Beibei, Chongqing is slow, and relative theory is also weak. So it’s necessary to strengthen the theory research of sports tourism to promote the development plan of Beibei and make contribution to theoretical construction.The methods in the dissertation are logical analysis, literature research and fieldwork and so on. By digesting previous studies and independent thinking, I try to investigate the theoretical and practical problems existing in sports tourism exploitation of Beibei, Chongqing. Based on the present situation of Beibei’s sports tourism and multi-angle analysis, a sports tourism program is given to solve the problems existing in sports tourism exploitation of Beibei.In the part of theoretical research, the concept, the classification and features of sports tourism; the meaning and classification of sports tourism resource; the meaning and content of sports tourism’s exploitation; the exploitation model of sports tourism’s exploitation are expounded.In the part of practical research, exploitation of sports tourism of Beibei, Chongqing is discussed. The current situation of sports tourism resource of Beibei is assessed in four aspects location, infrastructure, socio-economic, culture and history. The exploitation of sports tourism resource of Beibei is analyzed from four aspects: mountain sports tourism resource, water sports tourism resource, countryside sports tourism resource and spelunking; the primary model of exploitation should be "tourism+sports", the "sports+tourism" model should be supplementary.
