Study On The Teaching Situation Of Volleyball In Junior Middle Schools In Jiaozuo City Of Henan Province

In this thesis, a variety of research methods are adopted such as questionnaires,interviews, mathematical statistics and other research methods. Using the junior middleschool volleyball teaching in Jiaozuo city, Henan province as the research object, the authorhas conducted investigation and analysis of the current situation, and summarized theproblems behind it. Contents of the survey include the volleyball court and equipment, PEteachers, volleyball teaching situation, extra-curricular activities and matches. Through theresearch, a more in-depth understanding of the problems of volleyball teaching in Jiaozuojunior middle schools can be realized, which provides suggestions for better development ofvolleyball teaching activities.Conclusions analyzed from the survey:1）The number of school court and equipment basically meets the need of teaching andextra-curricular activities, but there are some school has a number of court and volleyballslants little, equipment and facilities are too old, lack of maintenance and other phenomena.;2）The number of teachers basically meets the need of teaching. But teacher-student ratiois too large, teachers’ workload and work pressure is great; Meanwhile, problems are existinglike gender imbalance, big age structure, and professional is not strong, which can affect theteaching.3） Influenced by geographical and cultural environment, academic courses haveexcessive attention so that volleyball class are subjected to other disciplines, while volleyballclass has a certain regularity;4）Teaching methods and means are too old, resulting in tedious course and constrainingthe enthusiasm of students. Innovative teaching methods are only used occasionally and someused teaching methods are not very clear;5）School volleyball activities are not universal, students participating in Volleyballextracurricular activities actively and frequencies are low, many schools are launchingvolleyball competitions occasionally. School volleyball atmosphere is relatively poor,affected by academic and time pressure, inadequate volleyball matches are carried onbetween classes rarely. In order to solve these problems, some corresponding proposals are put forward. First ofall, increase financial input, and strengthen the maintenance of volleyball venue andequipment; second, strengthening the construction of teaching staff, promoting a morereasonable teachers’ structure, and having regular professional training so as to improveteachers’ quality; thirdly, teaching methods should be updated, various kinds of forms can beused to improve students’ interest; finally, different kinds of volleyball activities should becarried out to create a better atmosphere for school volleyball.
